“The Pitch”

We know that many business people do not attend immigration seminars because they have only heard about skilled migration (English plus qualifications) or Investor visas (lots of money).

There are many people who cannot meet those policies, or choose not to. So they do not go along to immigration seminars because they disqualify themselves.

How do you get them to come and talk to you anyway?

You have to use a message that gets their attention, and encourages them to make enquiries. We like to call this a self-selecting or “qualified advertisement”.

The usual way is to put on a seminar and ask “who want’s to migrate?”. You then get people attending with all different stories to tell, you then have to sort through all sorts of people, and many of whom will never fit any of the visa categories. Wouldn’t it be nice of the people who could not migrate never came along?

It’s like that with the business visa categories. These clients are worth more to your business. Wouldn’t you like to get more of them?

Here is the idea: in your advertising, words “If you own, manage or direct a business, you can migrate, no English necessary”. Of course add the words “subject to meeting various criteria” at the bottom of the advertisement.

The main point is you did not use the words “skill”, “IELTS” or “qualification” in your advertisement, - so you did not allow business people to GUESS that they cannot migrate.

It works! The last time one of our agents used this message, over 90% of the audience at the seminar could meet the business migration policy. That is an attractive audience, all of whom can be told much the same message and use similar resources to process. Here you can become very efficient in your client management costs.

We suggest that this type of advertisement is placed in the Business Pages of the newspapers instead of the General News sections. The advertisement would also work in the Retail Industry magazine, import/export trade magazines, Chamber of Commerce newsletters, even door knocking and handing out a brochure to the owner or manager of every business in your street.

Business people do not like to waste time. Once you have them attending the seminar, we suggest you simplify the process and use pictures to illustrate key points. You can use this basic assessment guide to design your own flowchart for use on screen or in wall displays at seminars.

And to top it off we can provide you with discount vouchers! Your first fully priced business plan will earn a discount of $500 where the whole process is managed by your agency. Click here to get that one-time only voucher.
